Terms of Use

Welcome to Reckr Voice Changer (the App), published by Reckr, Inc. (collectively referred to as Reckr, we, us, or our). These Terms of Use set out the rules for accessing and using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Because Reckr Voice Changer is designed for children, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy before a child uses the App. By permitting a child to use the App, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and consent to the child's use in accordance with these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

  • The App is intended for families and children aged 4-12. A parent or legal guardian must supervise all use.
  • The App does not require or support user accounts. All usage is local to the device.

2. License & Acceptable Use

  • Reckr grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control and as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by law.
  • You agree not to circumvent any security or technological measures or upload harmful code.
  • You agree not to use the App for commercial purposes, advertising, or solicitation without our prior written consent.

3. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

The App offers optional premium subscriptions that unlock additional voice effects. Details for each plan are presented in the App prior to purchase and include product title, price, billing frequency, and any available introductory offers.

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the point of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions or by visiting https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
  • When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the current billing period. Partial refunds are not provided for unused time.
  • If a subscription cannot be renewed (for example, due to payment issues), access to premium features may end when the current period expires.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App and its content belong to Reckr or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, sell, or distribute any part of the App except as expressly allowed by these Terms.

You retain ownership of any audio recordings you create with the App. Reckr does not collect, store, or transmit recordings unless you choose to share them via other apps or services.

5. Privacy & Safety

  • Reckr Voice Changer is designed to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
  • The App runs entirely on-device; we do not collect personal information or analytics from children.
  • For details on the limited information we may collect from parents or guardians (for example, support requests), review our Privacy Policy.

6. Device Requirements & Updates

  • Some features require microphone access. Granting access is optional, but recording will not function without it.
  • Reckr may provide updates, enhancements, or fixes. Updates may be required to continue using the App.
  • We may discontinue or modify any feature at any time in our sole discretion.

7. Limited Warranty & Disclaimers

  • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
  • Reckr does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Audio processing results can vary based on device hardware and input quality.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Reckr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or device issues, arising from use of the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or the subscription period in which the claim arose (if any), or fifty dollars (US $50), whichever is greater.

Because the App is distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple will not be responsible for any claims relating to the App or its content. You acknowledge that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Termination

Reckr may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Termination does not relieve you of any outstanding payment obligations already incurred.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When we make material changes we will revise the Effective Date shown above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
